GIFAMARINE

GIFAmarine

For offshore partition construction and furniture making

Knauf Integral GIFAmarine large-scale boards are surface-primed raw-cut boards for further industrial and workshop working to finished products. Constructional and design principles from woodworking are to be transferred to the working of GIFAmarine. Thanks to their classification as non-combustible material, GIFAmarine large-scale boards are, for example, used for furniture making in escape route areas or as impact protection instead of wood. Thin GIFAmarine boards can be bent into curved forms. Bonding of several GIFAmarine boards into a greater overall thickness is possible. GIFAmarine1500 is furthermore sold by the Knauf companies as an insert for bullet-proof drywall construction wall systems ready-to-be used.

In order to prevent scratches, precautionary measures are required such as maintaining a clean workplace and working on the back of the board material. Suction units are recommended to reduce the dust development.
