There are many influences for the development of a new design. The ideas from designers as well as customer’s wishes are the basis for the creation of new decors.
The mission of decor development is to create a new look by reproducing what can be found in nature. Each piece of wood, each stone, is an original, you just have to find it at the veneer dealer or stonemason.
After a natural material has been selected it is scanned in preparation for the digital process.
Digital image processing creates a homogeneous image using a natural template. Care is taken here to ensure that the motif can be retouched as required.
An initial presentation of a printed, representative section of the layout is made ("master prototype"). Different colour shade settings of the same decor are fixed and provided with decor numbers.
The finished data is saved and printed. Colour consistency and quality are ensured by comparing the initial print result with the master prototype. Development is now complete and further orders can be handled without development work.
