For horizontal and vertical installation of DESIGNBOARD

Perfect surfaces, inner values – this is what Knauf Design is known for. According to this promise, we now offer professionals a clever system for easy and safe wall cladding. It consists of our gypsum fibre boards, aluminum split battens and suitable screws. The boards are delivered as desired: painted, veneered, laminated, with digital print, slotted or perforated.

The core of the system are the split battens that are fixed to the wall and the board and then hung into each other. For horizontal or vertical installation – according to your wishes.

  • Split battens for mounting on the board with the help of Euro screws
  • Split battens for mounting on the existing stable and flat wall with suitable mounting material
  • Euro screws for mounting on the gypsum fibre board
  • Suitable mounting material for fixation on the existing wall

VERTICAL installation

VERTICAL board installation

If the DESIGNBOARDS are to be installed vertically, the split battens have to be mounted horizontally. The longer the boards are, the more split battens are required.

HORIZONTAL board installation

For horizontal installations, two split battens are fixed on each DESIGNBOARD. The longer the board is, the longer the split battens are.
