Knauf Design
The long-standing cooperation between the Riessler company and Knauf resulted in a merger in 2012 to form Knauf Design, which was honoured and celebrated together with German and overseas partners, stakeholders and employees at the jubilee celebration in September 2022. Around 60 guests were welcomed and introduced to the event by Group CEO Christoph Dorn. Afterwards, Markus Riessler, one of the two managing directors, informed the guests of the interesting facts on how the classic carpentry business with a focus on furniture and furnishings had evolved into the specialist for surface-finished design-oriented solutions with premium fire resistance and acoustic quality and even safe solutions for wet areas.
